The mamajacket is a classy cashmir-wool jacket which can be used in three ways: During pregnancy….. When carrying your baby ….. Solo without child ……First, during pregnancy, when your other jackets do not fit any more, you can zip in a pregnancy insert* into the zippers of the mamajacket to give you and your growing baby more room.

Once the baby is born, he or she will be enclosed by another insert that easily zips into your coat in front or back. You can wear your coat no matter if you are carrying your baby in front or on the back. This insert for the baby has a separate opening for baby’s head and is stretchable so even bigger kids feel comfortable. It is also washable by hand in lukewarm water. As long as your baby is very small and can not hold his head up yet, or when he is asleep, you can simply fold the insert downward instead of using the head opening. The jacket is designed to be used with a baby sling or any other carrying device for carrying the baby in front or on your back. Note: This coat does not replace a carrying sling nor include a sling – you have to purchase this separately.

And finally, it is a fashionable coat for the mother – even without a child. Before the baby is born, when your child wants to walk, when you are out and about by yourself, or when daddy is carrying the child, the insert is easily removed and put back again when needed.

Outer shell: 90% lambs wool / 10% cashmere Lining: 100% Viscose Inserts: 25% wool / 55% Acrylic / 20% polyester (this material is very elastic and can be washed by hand). Both - baby and pregnancy inserts are made of a double layer of knitted fabric. It adjusts because of its elastic quality.
